Florida Girl Returns to Beirut
American teenager returns to Lebanon to find the mum she left 15 years ago
Born in Beirut, teenager Marianna Westby moved with her dad to Florida, America, when she was just a child. But now she wants to return to Lebanon to find the mum she hasn’t seen for 15 years and start a new why of life.
Also on the show; the Jack and Jill Club was set up over 60 years ago in racially segregated America, to enable wealthy black African Americans to ski, sail and horse ride – all things they were not allowed to do alongside white people. We visit the National Convention in New York, America, to see how wealthy Black Americans see life today.
