Asia's Economic Decline

Southeast Asian countries are facing the worse economic slump in years

Many Southeast Asian countries are facing the worse economic slump in years. We speak to two young Asian people studying in Britain – David Char from Singapore and Angie Lym from Malaysia – about the impact the turmoil back home is having on their lives and education here.

Also on the show, we hear from Kevin Steele, the director of Third World First, a national student organisation that campaigns on issues like human rights and global poverty; and discuss a report on the itchy skin condition, psoriasis.
