Part 4 - Reconciliation
Life in South Africa ten years after the end of apartheid
Fergal Keane is in South Africa revisiting some of the families who struggled to survive under apartheid. He sees the dramatic improvement in their lives ten years on and looks at the part reconciliation has played in that. He also meets white farmers for whom the end of white minority rule has brought uncertainty. Can the aspirations of different racial groups be reconciled so that all South Africans can look forward to a peaceful and prosperous future?
