C. P. Taylor's new play, Good, produced in London by the RSC, is a story of intellectual seduction by the Nazis. Real footballers, including PelΓ© and Bobby Moore, star alongside Michal Caine and Sylvester Stallone in the ripping World War Two yarn Escape to Victory, directed by John Huston. The flourishing film industry in Sri Lanka is showcased in a London festival. Park Honan discusses the subject of his new biography, Matthew Arnold: A Life, one of the most influential 19th-century British poet and literary critic.
