Amadeus and Piaf bag top Tony Awards in New York
Why British theatre is doing so well in New York. The National Theatre's production of Peter Shaffer's play, Amadeus, won Tony Awards for best play, director, actor, design, and lighting; RSC actress Jane Lapotaire won best actress as Piaf. James Clavell talks about researching his new novel set in Hong Kong of 1963, Nobel House. The Cambridge Poetry Festival has attracted poets from all over the world. The Stuttgart Ballet's season in London includes Lady of the Camellias.
