A painful form of mutilation where girls as young as 10 are forced to have their chests burnt with hot objects to destroy breast development and prevent unwanted male attention is on the rise in the UK, according to one Conservative MP.

The practice is known as 'breast ironing' and is practiced in parts of west Africa.

Though there have been no prosecutions for it in the UK, some believe it is happening but that young women are too scared to speak out.

Joanna Gosling spoke to Jake Berry MP and Margaret Nyuydzewira, a campaigner against breast ironing.
