How Stockholm’s roads inspired Boston
Stockholm’s streets are among the safest in the world—but some of its innovations might seem extreme. Drivers in the city typically travel under 20 miles per hour. Still, the Swedish capital has such low statistics for pedestrian and cyclist deaths that American cities, like Boston, are following in Stockholm’s footsteps.
