A Better Future For Young Bangladeshis
Bangladeshi students ask the panel of politicians how they plan to deliver growth
Bangladesh has just celebrated 35 years of independence. The third most populous Muslim nation in the world, with 140 million people packed into a country the size of England and Wales, the average age is just 21. The next election is due in 10 months, but can the politicians deliver economic growth and provide young Bangladeshis with a better future? The panel includes government communications minister Nagmaal Hoodie; Sabba Hussein Chowdhury, political secretary to the main opposition party; and Tariq Massoud, film-maker.
