In a career spanning sixty years, Cliff Michelmore became one of the most familiar figures on Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ radio and television. He was live on air when news broke of the assassination of President John F Kennedy in 1963. He also covered the heart-stopping return of the of the damaged Apollo 13 spacecraft in 1970. He has died at the age of 96.
