The Women Rebuilding Turkey

How the job of rebuilding communities after Turkey's earthquakes has fallen to women

In the wake of two disastrous earthquakes in Turkey, which killed hundreds and made many more homeless, the job of rebuilding shattered communities has largely fallen to women. The show reports from a town where The Turkish Working Women's Foundation has been helping women to help themselves.

Also on the programme: Is there such a thing as the male menopause? Plus, how young women are being mobilised in the fight against AIDS in Africa.
