Measuring Earthquakes

Martin Redfern from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Science Unit describes how the Richter Scale is used to measure the intensity of an earthquake. Working primarily in California, Charles Richter developed the scale in 1935, which has since been adopted around the world.
