Skin Cancers caused by Sunshine
Sunshine causes more cancers than any other agent in the world
The UV component of sunshine causes more cancers than any other agent in the world but researchers are still trying to quantify the relationship between different types of melanomas (skin cancers) and exposure to sunshine. Experiments reveal the specific values that monkeys attach to signs of social dominance. Scientists use stem cells from discarded umbilical cords to make red blood cells to solve shortage of blood for medical transfusions. Using "sideways-looking" sonar to map the sea floor.
