Modified coldsore virus that selectively attacks malignant melanoma cells on the skin

New treatment for malignant melanoma skin cancer uses a modified version of the herpes coldsore virus to attack tumours. The Cities on Volcanoes conference in Auckland, New Zealand, looks at making safer the lives of 500 million people who live in the shadows of volancoes worldwide.
