How international law has undergone a revolution in the past decade to provide increasing possibilities of redress for vicitims of crimes against humanity arising from international and civil conflicts. This has been achieved through the work of bodies such as the Truth and Reconciliation Commission in South Africa and the International Court of Human Rights, which finally entered into force in July 2002.

NB This programme includes distressing accounts of war and human rights abuses.
