Argentina's tortured missing
An Irish Catholic priest tells of how he became a prisoner in 1970s Argentina
An Irish Catholic priest tells of how he became a prisoner in 1970s Argentina. The priest talks about his experience of being beaten and how he heard the screams of others being tortured during the time of Argentina's authoritarian military junta. At least 5,000 people were tortured in one building, where they were also burnt and thrown off planes. Altogether 30,0000 people went missing and the mothers of many continue to campaign in their memory.
