The elaborate performances of Kathakali
Kathakali is an intricate form of classical dance-drama which has been performed in the south Indian state of Kerala for centuries.
Dancers wear elaborate make-up and use facial expressions and body movements to tell stories and are accompanied by a singer and a drummer.
