A proposal to redevelop Nene Park in Irthlingborough has drawn objections from local sports clubs, including AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
Plans to demolish the existing stadium and replace it with a cinema, hotel, shops and a community football facility have been submitted after similar plans were withdrawn last March.
Vice chairman of AFC Rushden & Diamonds, John Ward, said the proposals "don't look adequate".
