Kol Nidre ('all our vows') is a Jewish prayer recited on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. The programme looks at performances of it and the melody added by Max Bruch. Contributors include cellists Steven Isserlis and Liam Abramson and poet Tessa Ransford. Rabbi Albert Friedlander describes listening to this music with Jacqueline du Pre on the last day of her life.
