Stab victim's mum: Young people think it's OK to commit murder
The mother of teenager Isaiah Ekpaloba, who was stabbed to death in London earlier this year, says young people think it's OK to commit murder.
Grace Aloba, who was in prison when her son was killed as he was attempting to rob another man in his flat, told 5 live's Stephen Chittenden that carrying knives was "really getting into a culture now".
She said: "Speaking with the young people a lot of them feel intimidated and threatened. And a lot of the time they get into these fights and it's not like back in the days when we were young when it would just be like a fist fight and that would be it, people are using weapons."
Jaydee Dorsett was jailed for at least 12 years in July for Isaiah's murder.
