Rare Royal Mail coach goes under the hammer

A rare 19th Century horse-drawn Royal Mail coach has sold at auction at Bonhams for more than 130,000 pounds.

At the time it was the world's fastest form of transport. To reach its top speed of 20 miles an hour, drivers were issued with a loud horn to clear the way, and a blunderbuss to ward off would-be highwaymen.
