Mozart: Exsultate, Jubilate
With Elizabeth Watts (soprano) and the Royal Northern Sinfonia, directed by Kyra Humphreys. Live from Sage Gateshead as part of Free Thinking 2015.
Mozart composed this exuberant motet during a stay in Milan for the production of his opera Lucio Silla. The solo part was written for the castrato Venanzio Rauzzini who took the role of Cecilio in the opera.
