The original Jurassic park
Evolutionary biologist Dr Ellinor Michel from the Natural History Museum describes the Iguanadon sculptures at Crystal Palace Park. Shes says they present a controversy that existed in science at the time of their construction in the 1850s.
The Crystal Palace dinosaurs were built by paleontologist Richard Owen and sculptor Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkin.
Dr Michel is also chair of the Friends of Crystal Palace Dinosaurs.
