A report on the spread of leptospirosis during flooding in India. Leptospirosis is a type of bacterial infection spread by animals. It's caused by a strain of bacteria called leptospir and in its most severe form, leptospirosis is also known as Weil's disease. In India recent floods have increased cases of the disease.
