The blood disorder thalassaemia and the growing health gap between rich and poor. Poverty is one of the most common causes of poor health. Diseases including tuberculosis are making a comeback among poorer communities and countries, according to the World Health Association. Also in the programme, a look at treatment of children with the genetic blood disorder thalassaemia, which causes anaemia.
