The availability and accessibility of abortion is discussed following a UN conference. The Conference on Population and Development fuelled intense worldwide debate on family planning, sex education and abortion. Over of a quarter of a million women die and many suffer life long complications worldwide as a result of illegal abortions. In Mexico attempts are being made to help empower women wanting to plan their families. Presenter: Janet Davey
