The 'mad doctor' acquired his nickname because of his work with psychiatric patients
Dr David Abdulai, the 'mad doctor of Tamale' acquired his nickname because of his work with psychiatric patients.
He has been honoured with a Grand Medal national award by President Rawlings in recognition of his work with the destitute people of Tamale, Northern Ghana.
Ofeibea Quist-Arcton meets Dr Abdulai.
