Eddie Jones: 'If the RFU came knocking I'd chat to them'
Japan's rugby head coach spoke with Sports Correspondent, Rob Bonnett about the England job and Chris Robshaw.
He said "I haven’t indicated I want to coach England or desire the job, but certainly if the RFU came knocking on the door I’d chat to them."
Eddie is not convinced about Chris Robshaw. He said "I just don’t think he’s an open side flanker. He’s an excellent player but the first thing you have to do for the captain is to make sure he’s going to be in the team. Can he find his place as blind side flanker?"
He also talk about the team spirit of the England team "If you look at English sport, there’s some general things that England sides are pretty good at in rugby. Then normally they have that bull dog spirit, they have strong set pieces, strong defence and then you build the game around that. I think that’s probably what’s been missing from the England sides for the last 12 years really, since 2003."
