Inside Hamburg’s biggest refugee camp
With growing dissatisfaction among the residents and the cold winter drawing in, worsening conditions in Hamburg’s biggest camp are worrying the staff. Head of the camp Stefanie Gaumert shows India Rakusen around the fields of tents and containers that are home to around 2,400 people. The camp is at its limit and struggling to meet the expectations of those who have arrived.
