Popularising Bungee Jumping
Bungee pioneer AJ Hackett on how he made the extreme sport popular around the world.
"I wasn't terrified on the first jump... the only thing left was to see what the buzz was like."
AJ Hackett along with his friend Chris Sigglekow, experimented with rubber cords and weights before jumping off bridges in his native New Zealand.
He jumped off the Eiffel Tower in 1987, a stunt that drew attention to the extreme sport and made it popular around the world.
