The Ferrocarril Abandonado

A descendant travels the Columbian railways in search of his grandfather's secret life

Journalist Stephen Smith travels along the railways that his grandfather, British diplomat Leslie Frost, ran in 1920s Columbia. Now fraught with danger and ravaged by war and heavy rains, they are close to being lost altogether. But riding on the footplate with the engineers, Smith feels close to his grandfather and even closer when he meets another descendant, who was kept secret.
