Bhutan's apple growers need to start grading fruit in order to get better prices
Farming in Bhutan is a combination of new and old methods. The apple crop would be more profitable with better post-harvest handling, grading and packing the fruit better for market instead of the usual 'jumble pack'. However, traditional attitudes to the land have conserved soil in difficult terrain.
