Perfecting the Pigeon Pea in Africa
Pigeon pea that feeds livestock and humans can be grown in many different farming systems. However, pigeon pea is now in the ascendant in Africa, where researchers at the International Crops Research Institute of the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) have improved its productivity and profitibility.
