Political policy makers outline priorities for helping poorest farmers

International Food Policy Research Unit (IFPR) tells donor countries, 'Give more to get more'. CGIAR has agreed to prioritize low-yield areas, environment, forestry and fisheries for developing countries, especially sub-Saharan Africa and south Asia. More investment in agricultural research and the sharing of findings will help alleviate poverty, says Derek Tribe, author of 'Feeding and Greening the World'.
