Mac DeMarco joined us to play two cuts from new mini-album, Another One, and to offer up the band's slightly ominous guide to London. Vampire Weekend's Chris Baio played tracks from his solo debut, The Names. He relayed tales of being the sole act at a semi-cancelled Japanese festival - all very strange - and let us grill him about when to expect the next Vampire Weekend record. Franz Ferdinand and Sparks helped celebrate the launch of 6 Music Live at Maida Vale by joining us for an extended session at the legendary studios. They played the first song they wrote together, the unconvincingly titled 'Collaborations Don't Work'. Chris Hewitt reviewed the weeks film releases, Legend and The Visit, and uncovered another hidden gem.
