British runner Jo Pavey has been talking about her "mixed emotions" over the prospect of being awarded a retrospective World Championship bronze medal.
She came fourth in the 10,000m in Osaka in 2007 but Elvan Abeylegesse, who won silver, has now been banned by the Turkish Athletics Federation over doping allegations.
Pavey - the current European 10,000m champion - told Joanna Gosling she wanted the sport to have a "level playing field and have a bright future".
She also criticised Justin Gatlin for complaining about negative media coverage: "It's almost comical if a drugs cheat thinks they should be protected... He should have expected this sort of publicity - he's a bad role model."
