Hindenburg airship disaster 1937
The famous recording by American broadcaster Herbert Morrison, working for the Chicago radio station WLS (the 'Prairie Farmer Station'). He describes the moment the German passenger airship LZ 129 Hindenburg burst into flames and crashed to earth, with the loss of 36 lives on May 6, 1937. It was broadcast the next day.
