Owls use 'stealth technology' to capture prey

Owls use what scientists and engineers are calling β€˜stealth technology’ to help them capture prey, new research suggests.

If owls can fly more quietly maybe aeroplanes can as well, said Dr Helen Czerski, a physicist at UCL.

β€œAnything that’s got wings could be a lot quieter if you can understand this technology,” Dr Czerski told Today.
