A new documentary about Marlon Brando pulls together previously unreleased recordings made by the elusive Hollywood star, offering an intimate portrait of an icon. In the documentary Cutting Up The Cut Up, the writer Ken Hollings examines how an artistic device called the 'cut-up' has been employed by artists and satirists to create new meanings in audio from pre-existing recorded words. Artist Lenka Clayton made a film rearranging all the words in George Bush’s Axis of Evil speech in alphabetical order - to extraordinary effect.

Son of a Yorkshire carpenter, pianist Emmanuel Vass has thrown the cat amongst the classical pigeons by not only finding the money for his first album Sonic Waves through crowdfunding, but then reaching the top of the classical charts – and becoming a Guinness World Record holder in the process.

The craze for grown-ups breaking out the crayons has taken the publishing world by storm over the past year. Adult colouring books are hitting the top of best seller lists across the world. We meet Scottish illustrator Johanna Basford who has sold around two million copies of her two colouring books, who talks about the beauty of the β€˜digital detox’ of colouring in.

Having declared himself bankrupt in the light of a lawsuit he lost, American rapper 50 Cent would be forgiven for keeping his head down. But the self-styled businessman and rapper is on the media trail to promote his new album Street King Immortal. He reflects on the vulnerability in this new album which may surprise his fans.

Ninety-four year old Iris Apfel is celebrated for her flamboyant style and her trademark pair of giant glasses, but it wasn’t until The Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York put on a collection of her clothes, ten years ago, that she became suddenly a well-known public figure. She’s the subject of a new documentary, β€˜Iris’. She joined Jenni Murray to discuss the importance of accessories, being the first woman to wear jeans and ageism in fashion.

The Cardinall's Musick returns to the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Proms with director Andrew Carwood to launch a major new project: the Tallis Edition, aiming to throw new light on the music of this most lyrical of English polyphonists. Inspired by Tallis’ seminal piece for forty voices, Spem in Alium, Tom Morris from the Bristol Old Vic has commissioned eight composers to write modern compositions for forty voices.

Comedian and actor Aziz Ansari says there is hope for the entertainment industry: fewer white men in top creative positions in the US will mean more opportunities for actors from minority backgrounds. Parks and Recreation star Ansari, who is now starring in and producing his own show Master of None, talks about casting his own parents and the joy of working with other Indian actors.

Actors and actresses from around the world have made their way to the Senegalese capital, Dakar, to take part in this year's Forum Street festival. Forum Theatre, also known as Theatre of the Oppressed, allows actors and the audience to speak their minds and create debates on social issues, as well as bringing some genuine homemade entertainment to them.
