It's not every day that a museum puts on an exhibition that proves to be so popular, it has to open all night to accommodate the visitors flocking to see it.

But that's exactly what has happened at the Victoria and Albert museum in London.

An event dedicated to the fashion designer Alexander McQueen has become a blockbuster hit, attracting people from across the globe, as our reporter Elizabeth Hotson has been discovering.
