"Floating schools" of Bangladesh
From June to October it's a flood season in Bangladesh, when millions of Bangladeshis are forced to migrate to larger cities to feed their families. Children suffer acutely as when the sea levels rise, the families are often unable or unwilling to send them to school.
This situation made one local man - Mohammed Rezwan from Northwest Bangladesh - so frustrated that he decided to build a fleet of floating schools. These are specially equipped boats which pick up the kids from villages every morning so that they could take classes and use the library.
