Do MPs deserve a pay rise? The studio debate
MPs are due to receive a 10% pay increase taking their income to Β£74,000. It is a controversial move when many public sector workers are facing wage freezes. A consultation on their pay closes at midnight and has received hundreds of responses. The Victoria Derbyshire programme heard the opposing views of MPs Adam Afriyie and John Mann β and responses from members of the public.
