'We’ve been standing by and watching for too long'
The UK and people across the world should be doing more to help the migrants fleeing across the Mediterranean to reach Europe, says the chaplain to the Speaker of the House of Commons.
In a personal film, the Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin questions if it matters if they are "real" asylum seekers?
She says: "We’ve been standing by and watching for too long. These are human beings, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, infants, pregnant women, all desperately trying to escape war and hunger."
