What is it like living under Islamic State?
The militant group overran Iraq's second-biggest city Mosul a year ago and since then it has managed to stifle all political, religious and cultural dissent.
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Ghadi Sary has been following events in Mosul, gathering testimonies from people inside, and meeting people who have left the city.
"They burned communication towers and ruined and ransacked equipment and they introduced laws to control use of the internet," said telecoms engineer Firas.
"Media is the most important weapon in the world, so they don't want it to be used against them."
