Attacked vicar who contracted HIV: ‘Diagnosis not end of the world’
Reverend Hayley Young, 28, is a minister at Hayling Island Baptist church in Hampshire.
In 2013, she was the victim of a non-sexual attack and contracted HIV.
She told only a few of her closest family and friends about her diagnosis but after losing her hair and an obvious decline in her health, rumours began and she felt it was time to tell her congregation.
