Sajid Javid: Getting rid of tax credits is key to UKβs EU reforms
Business Secretary Sajid Javid has told the ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔβs Andrew Marr that successful negotiations between the UK and the EU would involve reform in the key areas of in-work benefits, tax credits and housing benefits.
βWe want to make sure that job seekers coming to Britain donβt get access to those benefits for at least four yearsβ¦ and only get six months to look for a job,β he added.
As the referendum on Europe nears, the business case for and against our membership will dominate the debate.
Mr Javid also spoke about the Enterprise Bill and shared his views on Britainβs role in the battle against IS.
