Sale of wildlife laws flouted in Peru market

The global illicit trade in wildlife is thought to be worth around $20bn (Β£12.7bn) per year and it is pushing some species towards extinction. Many creatures that are bought and sold come from the jungles of Latin America. The authorities in Peru are trying to clamp down on the trade but it is proving difficult to manage.
