Why is David Lammy not standing for Labour leadership?

David Lammy says he will seek the Labour nomination to be the next mayor of London, but will not be standing for leadership of the national party.

He told Jo Coburn it needed someone who could appeal to potential Labour voters in the Midlands and Scotland, but he knew the capital best.

He also spoke to the Andrew Neil, Kevin Maguire and Tom Newton Dunn about the election result, and how Labour can rebuild.
