Correspondent, Jo Black, has been listening to the stories of some of the surviving codebreakers who joined the celebrations 70 years ago. Those sharing their memories worked at Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire, deciphering German messages sent on Enigma machines.

Betty Flavell was working on the day when, in her words, "the chief officer gave us all a pep talk. I think she thought we were all going to lose our honour, because of everybody feeling free and throwing caution to the wind; celebrating, drinking."

Recordings of Britain's secret codebreakers from the Second World War have been made available on the internet to mark the seventieth anniversary tomorrow of VE Day - Victory in Europe.
