Emmanuel Jal: "My country has gone back to war"
The film The Good Lie was inspired by the true story of the former child soldier Emmanuel Jal, and how he was rescued from the South Sudanese war in 1993. Reese Witherspoon stars in the film as does Emmanuel himself.
In this interview Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's Karen Gabay speaks to Emmanel about growing up in a war, and the real life events that inspired the film.
