βMy clientsβ¦ want some form of justiceβ β Janner complainant lawyer
The Lawyer representing three men who say they were sexually abused as children by the former Labour MP Lord Janner says they are to seek a review of the decision not to prosecute him.
βMy clients want their day in court, they want to be heard, and they want some form of justice,β said βAt the moment theyβre not getting it.β
The Director of Public Prosecutions announced Lord Janner, 86, would not be charged, despite sufficient evidence to bring a case, because of his dementia.
The ex-MP has denied any wrongdoing.
The CPS Victims Right to Review Scheme allows a complainant to request a charging decision be reconsidered.
